What Do You Believe?

Hello again and thank you for taking a Moment with Mel. Today I have a question for you, “What do you believe?” In John 14, Jesus talks about leaving us the “Spirit of truth”. He explains that that Spirit, His Spirit, will be in us as our Guide. In our world today, it is hard to know what is true. How do you tell?

Our God is a God of Divine Order. Read the beginning of Genesis about the creation.  The universe was created in Divine Order. Our world was created in Divine Order. Our bodies were created in Divine Order. How do we determine when something is out of Order? Think about what scammers do. They create chaos and a sense of urgency to get you to do what they want you to do. They want you confused, they want you disoriented. Anytime you feel confused and disoriented, you need to pause. Don’t make decisions in that state.  Anyone who does not want you to pause and “check in” with your Spirit, does not have your best interests at heart. ANYONE!!!

No human should be your only source of information about God. 2 Corinthians 11 talks about false apostles. It talks about Satan masquerading as an angel of light and his servants masquerading as servants of righteousness. Can you think of any relationship that you spend time together 1-2 hours a week that is a strong solid relationship? The only way you will be able to discern if someone or a decision is in line with what God wants for you is to have a strong relationship with Him. You have to tap into that Spirit of truth.  You have to know Him for yourself. Something is going to be in control. Do you want it to be disorder or Divine Order?

In Matthew 22, Jesus tells us the greatest commandment, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” In order for you to do that, you have to know Him for yourself.

Remember, Jesus left us the “Spirit of truth”. His Spirit in us, is our Guide.  Don’t let scammers get you. Know Him for yourself.
